What is ‘Mr. Corman’ Season 1 About?
For some, the prospect of growing up is all they dream about. It means being able to call their own shots and be at the helm of their lives with a sense that everything will work out just fine in the end no matter what happens along way there might have been challenges or setbacks on your journey for adulthood but life throws you curveballs when you least expect it
But if anything, it’s this spontaneity we often celebrate as adults because one day could bring new possibilities while another can leave us stuck wondering “what now?”
It is written and directed by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who also stars in the lead role.
Josh Corman, whose music career hasn’t panned out, teaches fifth grade in Los Angeles. He’s passionate about his art and music, but to make ends meet he works as a public school teacher on the weekends so that he can spend more time with Megan who is now living separately from him after their wedding plans fell through. His high school buddy Victor comes back into Josh’s life when his girlfriend leaves for greener pastures just as she was giving birth to their child.
