The Flash SEASON 6 Premiere Date Set By The CW
About The Flash TV Show
"The Flash" airs Season 6 Episode 19, its temporary season finale, on Tuesday, May 12th at 8 p.m. ET/PT. Earlier this year, the CW announced it would be delaying production on all Arrowverse shows due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Unable to finish out the season, The CW decided to end its release schedule early and chose not to air episodes closer to the actual end of the season. It's unclear when The Flash will return to air the remaining episodes of season six.
What's the premise of "The Flash" Season 6 Episode 19?
According to the logline: "Barry considers a dangerous plan to save Iris from the Mirrorverse," and "Ralph tries to stop Sue from making a terrible mistake that could destroy her life."
What is "The Flash" about?
Here's what producers have to say: "Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) lived a normal life as a perpetually tardy C.S.I. in the Central City Police Department. Barry's life changed forever when the S.T.A.R. Labs Particle Accelerator exploded, creating a dark-matter lightning storm that struck Barry, bestowing him with super-speed and making him the fastest man alive - The Flash."
What was the premise for the back half of "The Flash" Season 6?
The second half of the show's sixth season picked up after the "Crisis of Infinite Earths," an Arrowverse crossover event that premiered in December 2019. The Flash's friends and family spent most of the first half of season 6 preparing for the worst: Barry's death. In the midseason premiere, Barry dealt with the death of a close friend and began to move forward on Earth-Prime, a new universe where DC superheroes co-exist.
Who stars in "The Flash" Season 6?
Fans will see Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), Iris West (Candice Patton), Cisco Ramon (Carlos Valdes), Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker), Eobard Thawne (Tom Cavanagh), Captain Jow West (Jesse L. Martin), Cecile Horton (Danielle Nicolet) and Ralph Dibny (Hartley Sawyer).
How long is the second half of "The Flash" Season 6?
Season 6 was originally slated for 22-episodes. It's unclear when the final three episodes of the season will air. We might get to see these episodes over the summer, but they could also run into the fall when season seven should debut.
Will there be a Season 7 of "The Flash"?
We'll have to wait for season six to finish out its run before season seven goes into production. However, The CW is committed to its Arrowverse shows, and "The Flash" is one of its main titles. There will be a seventh season, we're just not sure when it'll premiere. Check back for more updates.
