The Flash SEASON 7 Premiere Date Set By
About The Flash TV Show
For even more The Flash cancellation/renewal news, see here.
The Flash Season 7 was originally scheduled to premiere on the 23rd of February, after The CW made the decision to halt its DC series for 2021 because of the Covid-19 pandemic. It was supposed to air in conjunction with the new Arrowverse show Superman and Lois.
The Flash will now return on Tuesday, March 2 at 8 p.m. on the CW.
Amongst other things, the series will follow the story of Superman and Lois Lane trying to raise two adolescent teenagers together. This new series occurs in the same category as The Flash, and The CW's choices for one series would eventually influence the other directly. This isn't simply the case for the shows' storylines; it appears that it also pertains to the series' premiere dates.
What's the premise of "The Flash" Season 7?
The season follows Barry attempting to stop Eva McCulloch, and trying to discover a way to find his lost wife Iris West-Allen. It has been set in the Arrowverse, sharing a link with the other television series of the universe, and is a spin-off of Arrow.
What is "The Flash" Season 7 Premiere episode about?
The Flash Season 6 finished off on a bit of a cliffhanger, with Iris disappearing into the Mirror World after apparently acquiring certain mirror powers. Grant Gustin verified on The Flash cast's Stars in the House appearance that we are going to get our answers during the new season. "Everything that was sort of left in mid-air towards the end of season six, we are going to tie up at the very start of Season 7 and then proceed on with what the writers have proposed," Gustin said.
Who stars in "The Flash" Season 7?
Fans can expect to see some of their favorite characters such as:
Gustin as Barry Allen, Candice Patton as Iris West, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow, Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon, Jesse L Martin as Joe West, Tom Cavanagh as (a version of) Harrison Wells, Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton.
How long is the "The Flash" Season 7?
The sixth season came to an end too early, with 19 episodes out of the slated 22 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Producer Eric Wallace said the last three episodes, which had been written, are set to become the first three episodes of the seventh season.
Will there be a Season 8 of "The Flash"?
No announcement date has been released for The Flash season 8 and the news of this will most definitely change after the seventh season has finished its run. The pandemic certainly delayed the show and chucked out its steady schedule of announcing the release of a new season each fall since it began, so barring any unexpected delays, it might be safe to assume an eighth season of the much-loved DC series could come sometime in 2022.
