America's favorite alcoholic cartoon horse is back for part two of "BoJack Horseman's" final season. The final episodes drop on January 31st at 3 a.m. EST.
What's the premise?
Netflix released the first season of BoJack Horseman in 2014. Since then, it has become one of the streaming platform’s most successful titles. The animated show follows a humanoid horse who’s lost all sense of direction after a short-lived acting career on a family-friendly sitcom. In season one, BoJack is introduced as a depressive alcoholic who struggles to keep even his most dedicated friends nearby.
Where did season 6 part 1 leave off?
Part 1 lasted a total of 8 episodes. There were a number of major character developments for Diane, Mr. Peanut Butter, Princess Carolyn, and Hollyhock. BoJack showed real progress throughout part 1, which, if it were in past seasons, would have seemed unsustainable. Despite the unexpected development, the show remained tonally the same, relying on the same cutting humor that drew in viewers for the first 5 seasons.
What’s in store for part 2?
The final episodes of one of Netflix’s longest-running shows are sure to be bittersweet. Keeping in line with the overall theme and message of the show, creators won’t be pulling punches. BoJack will continue to confront his demons and attempt to take responsibility for his actions. Will BoJack hold himself accountable for his role in Sarah Lynn’s death. What will become of his relationship with Hollyhock? One thing is clear: Season 6 will be a realistic, biting finish with plenty of wit, humor, and cringe to leave viewers fully satisfied.
How long is season 6 part 2?
There’s only eight episodes left of BoJack Horseman. The show is a Netflix original though, so no need to worry about figuring out where to rewatch it in its entirety.
