About Supernatural TV Show

The Winchester Brothers will return one last time on October 8th for the remaining episodes of "Supernatural" Season 15.

The series finale was originally scheduled for Monday, May 18th. However, showrunner Andrew Dabb revealed to fans on Twitter in late March that the last few episodes of season 15 would not premiere on schedule. The crew filmed through episode 18 but staff members were not able to finish production prior to the mandatory coronavirus shutdown.

Warner Bros. TV committed to finishing out the show's run, and announced an updated schedule. The CW will begin airing the final seven episodes of "Supernatural" on October 8th at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The series finale will air November 19th at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

What is "Supernatural"?

If you're just starting your "Supernatural" binge, here's a run-down of the show's basic premise:

"Twenty-eight years ago, Sam Winchester (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) lost their mother to a mysterious and demonic supernatural force. Subsequently, their father John (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) raised them to be soldiers. He taught them about the paranormal evil that lives in the dark corners and on the back roads of America…and he taught them how to kill it."

What happened in Part 1 of "Supernatural" Season 15?

So far, season 15 has been a nostalgic look back at past seasons with cameos from popular characters and heartfelt messages. In typical "Supernatural" fashion, the season has been leading to a boss fight. The first part of season 15 saw the Winchester brothers slowly realizing that they'd been manipulated by God. There's no doubt that in the second half of the season, they'll be gearing up for a fight with the Almighty himself.

What can we expect for "Supernatural" Season 15 Part 2?

The Winchesters and Castiel will need help to take down God. The final episode before the midseason break, "The Gamblers", suggested that Jack and Billie (a.k.a. Death) will be onboard for the final fight. Now that Sam and Dean's heroes luck has been restored, they'll have to figure out what the Goddess of Luck meant when she encouraged them to make God "play their game."

When does "Supernatural" air?

"Supernatural" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on The CW.

Who's starring in "Supernatural" Season 15?

The Winchester Brothers, played by Jared Padelecki and Jensen Ackles will finish out their starring roles. In season 15 we'll also get to see Misha Collins as Castiel, Lisa Berry as Billie, and Alexander Calvert as Jack. In the first half of season 15 we saw cameos from Jake Abel (Adam Milligan), Ruth Connell (Rowena) and Shoshanna Stern (Eileen Leahy). Who will we see in the second half of the season? Will the Wayward Sisters get screen-time to fill out their story arcs? We'll have to wait and find out.
